What is payflo?

Payflo.io is a domain url that we are using to test out a new digital payments platform offered by Merchant Advisory Services, or MerchAdServ for short. Unfortunately, when we attempted to secure a trademark for the name "Payflo" we discovered that PayPal, has trademark for "Payflow" and anything similar that might confuse a customer. So to avoid any trademark infringement liability we must come up with a Trademarkable name for this digital payments platform.

How do I find my payment link?

You will find your payment link at the top right of your dashboard. Your payment link, payment request and take payment buttons are all located on the top right hand side of your Payflo dashboard. When you select Payment Link, a pop-up will appear with your payment link and the option to copy the link or to share it instantly on any of the platforms provided. If you need any help just chat with our team.

How long does it take for funds to arrive in my account?

It takes 24 hours or 1-2 working days depending on your subscription plan. When a payment is processed, it is captured immediately from your customer and sent to your account. The timing depends on the security precautions that the banks and card companies have in place, however please be aware that as soon as the payment is processed, it is captured.

Do you offer card readers?

Yes, however Payflo.io turns your smart device (phone, tablet, iPad) into a virtual card terminal so you take payment from your customers any place or time that you need to. It is available on both the Apple App store and the Android store. You can also take payment by selecting Take Payments from your dashboard.

How secure is Payflo?

We are a Level 1 PCI compliant when it comes to processing payment data through our partners. This is the most stringent level of security available in the payments industry. Our technical architecture and procedures ensures all data is protected to the highest standard.

What Payment Platforms Does Playflo support?

We plan to integrate with many payment processors. Currently, we are integrated with the Stipe Connect platform and we are planning to integrate with the Clover Connect platform next.
We expect that over integration with both of these by the first quarter of 2022.

What is MerchAdServ?

MerchAdServ.com is a shortened version of a longer url for MerchantAdvisoryServices.com. We are using this domain url to host our digital payments platform.

Does my customer need an account?

No, your customer does not require an account. We make it easier to get paid by reducing barriers for your customers, such as account creation, logins, code card requirements etc. All your customer needs is their card details, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Do you have a Mobile App?

Did you know you can take payment anywhere with our Mobile App? Our app enables you to turn your mobile phone into a virtual payment terminal so that you can process card payments on your mobile whenever you are on the move. Simply download or open the Payflo App on your mobile, complete the verification, set up your profile and start accepting payments.

What card types does Payflo support?

Payflo accepts all major debit and credit cards along with Apple Pay & Google Pay. We allow you to accept & request payments in USD only. If you would like to accept payments outside of the United States please contact us and we will facilitate that for you.

What are the charges per transaction?

3.5% & .30 cents for each transaction.
With our basic beta tester account, there are no setup fees and no monthly charges.
Please note that our prototype was built on the Stripe connect platform, which menta that they charge their regular fee of 2.9% & .30 cents for each transaction. We add .6% to that so we can pay our developers and to pay the internet bill.

What countries do you operate in?

Payflo can accept payments from 130+ countries across the globe. However, to create a splink account to receive payments you must have a bank account in the United States.

Can you set up recurring payments?

Recurring payments have been made easier to manage by allowing how much to set up, how often and for how long one gets paid. You can set up an automatic payment plan through the ‘Requests’ tab on your Payflo dashboard.
